It has been reported that John Wall will reach an agreement with the Rockets for buyout which will make him an unrestricted free agent and that he intends to sign with the Clippers.
His potential new teammate Paul George took to social media to send a thinly veiled message that he would like to see the five-time All-Star point guard on his team.
The Clippers shooting guard posted a screen grab from a dunk contest eight years ago in which George is congratulating Wall or his dunk.
According to David Aldridge, it was George that Wall wanted the Wizards to sign next to him and Bradley Beal. He was pushing for this move for years.
Wall sat out this entire season after not accepting the role that the Rockets had planned for him.
