Star swingman Paul George is set to miss the most important game of the Los Angeles Clippers this season.
Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Tim Bontempts, George has entered the health and safety protocols and won’t be able to lead his team against the New Orleans Pelicans this Saturday Play-in tourney.
The winner of the match will punch the last postseason ticket of the Western Conference — setting a first round, best-of-seven date with the league’s regular season best Phoenix Suns.
With George out, Terance Mann and Norman Powell are expected to step up in the wing position of Los Angeles to pull off the win inside the Crypto.com Arena.
