Paul George Avoids Torn Ligaments, Not Expected To Require Surgery

Paul George avoided torn ligaments in his right knee and is not expected to require surgery.

George will remain out at least 2-3 weeks due to the sprained right knee.

“I think we got the best case scenario as far as what we thought it could be. And so, being reevaluated in two, three weeks is something that we are looking forward to,” said Ty Lue on Thursday.

Should the Clippers make the playoffs, George’s potential return in the first round is considered optimistic.

Eric Gordon will start in George’s place.
