Patrick Beverley became the center of attention among the fans and the media alike for his victory celebration after the Timberwolves defeated his former team the Clippers.
The 33-year-old point guard was very passionate and teared up a bit as he triumphed. He was asked about doing the Kevin Garnett celebration, which jumping on the scorer’s table, while being a guest on ESPN’s NBA Today.
“Night before,” Beverley said as the show crew burst out laughing. “Just had to get to where we needed to get to.”
