Pat McAfee suggests ESPN muted him on Caitlin Clark

Earlier this year, Pat McAfee faced backlash after attempting to defend Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark who faces constant hatred and racism. During a segment on his show, McAfee referred to Clark as a ‘white b****’ while discussing how rival WNBA players might perceive her.

Following the incident, McAfee issued an apology. However, in a recent simulcast with The Rich Eisen Show, McAfee suggested that ESPN had successfully pressured him to quiet down on the topic of Clark, leading him to back off from discussing her further.
