The Boston Celtics are NBA Champions! That’s old news, but I just like saying it at the start of every article I write now. We’ve had a parade and also the draft and free agency, but there’s still lots going on and plenty to talk about.
There’s Summer League starting up, with lots of familiar faces showing up again. The Olympics getting under way, with several Celtics participating (and just a little bit of drama). Plus there are still some (minor) roster decisions coming up. Oh yeah, and the team happens to be for sale.
Meanwhile the rest of the league is in catch-up mode, trying to make moves to counter the formula that fueled the Celtics championship run (yup, that’s still fun to write).
The summer is wide open and so is my mailbag. Topics can be serious, off topic, or deep cut nerding out discussions. Whatever works for you.
