Dallas Mavericks rookie Olivier-Maxence Prosper is ready to defend Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards during preseason games coming up in Abu Dhabi on October 5th & 7th.

Reporter: “A week from now, you’re going to be guarding Anthony Edwards in a different country. How do you feel about guarding him? And then, how do you feel about guarding the best in the league in general”
Prosper: “I feel really good. I feel like all those guys are great, great players. Now it’s going to be a challenge, but I’m up for it. I don’t care who’s in front of me, what your resume is; the game still needs to be played. Will they make tough shots on me? Yes, they will. But, it’s part of the game. If you can make them inefficient, if you can make them take the shots they don’t want to take, and make their life hard, then I’m doing my doing job. So Anthony Edwards is gonna be my first game, but I’m gonna make his life hard. I don’t care what he’s done, I’m gonna make it tough on him. Whatever happens, happens. But I’m excited for that.”
