The Denver Nuggets firmed up their backup center position behind Nikola Jokic. Denver added Thomas Bryant to the mix, but in doing so the Nuggets traded away their backup point guard in Bones Hyland.
That need in the backcourt has Denver looking at the buyout market for a backup to Jamal Murray. One player the Nuggets are interested in is Reggie Jackson. The Charlotte Hornets are expected to buy out Jackson after acquiring him from the LA Clippers for Mason Plumlee and a second-round pick at the trade deadline.
Jackson averaged 10.9 points and 3.5 assists in 52 games for the Clippers. The 11-year veteran would bring some experience to the Denver bench, as the Nuggets look to remain atop the Western Conference.
