Juju Watkins has committed to USC as part of the incoming class of 2023.
Watkins is the No. 1 recruit in women’s basketball and also had South Carolina and Stanford on her list.
Watkins, a versatile 6-foot-2 guard, averaged 24.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.8 steals and 2.0 blocks last season for Sierra Canyon en route to the state title.
Lindsay Gottlieb was hired as head coach of USC in 2021 after previous stints as an assistant coach with the Cleveland Cavaliers and as the head coach at Cal.
