The Denver Nuggets have been in touch with Nikola Jokic following the departure of Tim Connelly to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Jokic expressed his opinion that he remains comfortable with the direction of the team.
Jokic is eligible to sign a five-year, $254 million supermax extension this offseason, which he has previously said he intends to sign.
Calvin Booth is widely expected to assume responsibilities running the team.
Jokic has had a close relationship with Connelly.
