Last season, Mikal Bridges had an impressive scoring average of 26.1 points per game after being traded from the Phoenix Suns to the Brooklyn Nets.
However, in the initial 34 games of his first full season with the Nets, his scoring has slightly decreased to 20.9 points per game. Additionally, his True Shooting Percentage has seen a decline from .607 to .568.
Although Bridges is recognized as one of the top two-way wings in the NBA, it seems unlikely that he will be the primary scorer on a championship-contending team.
Despite adjusting his role, the Nets still view Bridges as a crucial player to build their team around, intending to enhance the roster with additional talent, as noted by Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday.
