The incident involved Barnes disputing referees’ calls, confronting a 15-year-old student broadcaster, and putting his hand on him. Following the drama, Barnes semi-apologized, citing the student’s disrespect.
Despite the explanation, NBC Sports California decided to part ways with Barnes due to the incident.
