Despite landing Kyrie Irving before the trade deadline, the Dallas Mavericks didn’t even make the play-in tournament, let alone the playoffs.
Luka Doncic’s team was officially eliminated from the play-in tournament Friday night after losing to the Chicago Bulls 115-112.
It’s safe to say that Dallas’ season is an absolute failure, with many fans on Twitter claiming Doncic and Irving don’t work together.
The Mavericks were 29-26 and in 4th place in the Western Conference before acquiring Kyrie Irving from the Nets.
