The NBA is investigating Dejounte Murray’s actions towards an official following the Atlanta Hawks’ 129-121 loss at home to the Boston Celtics in Game 4, sources told Tim Bontemps of ESPN.
Murray appeared to make contact with referee Gediminas Petraitis before leaving the court at the end of the game.
The team did not make Murray available for a post-game interview.
The league usually makes a decision on any disciplinary action before the next game in the series.
Down 3-1 in the series, the Hawks play the Celtics on Tuesday night.
