Indiana Pacers coach Rick Carlisle acknowledged he has lots of new faces to incorporate after the trade deadline. He also hopes to work them in with big man Myles Turner soon after the All-Star break.
Speaking before Friday night’s game, Carlisle said he expects Turner to return “soon after the break”. Carlisle reiterated that there is no set date for Turner to play, but that it should come in the next couple of weeks.
Turner was somewhat surprisingly not a part of the Pacers trade deadline dealing. Indiana traded away Domantas Sabonis and Caris LeVert, but the market for Turner may have been depressed by him battling a stress reaction in his left foot. Now, Turner is reportedly excited to play with new acquisition Tyrese Haliburton on the Pacers.
