According to Jake Fischer, the Orlando Magic big man Mo Bamba, who was selected No. 6 overall in the 2018 NBA Draft, is ‘likely’ to leave Orlando in free agency:
“The idea of incorporating Smith or Holmgren into Orlando’s rebuild has sparked an expectation among league personnel that Bamba, a restricted free agent this summer, is likely to depart the franchise.”
This season, Mo Bamba averaged 10.6 PPG, 8.1 RPG, and 1.7 BPG while shooting 48.0% from the field and 38.1% from downtown, all career bests.
