It was a case of “good news, bad news” for the New York Knicks with a pair of starters and ankle injuries. On the positive front, Jalen Brunson is “good” after suffering an ankle injury at the end of the Knicks loss at the Boston Celtics on Friday.
Mitchell Robinson is another story. Robinson suffered an ankle injury late in the first half on Friday. Robinson didn’t start the second half, and only played 4:49 total after the break.
Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said Robinson is undergoing additional testing. It’s uncertain how much time, if any, the Knicks starting center will have to miss.
