AX Armani Exchange Milan bolstered its backcourt by signing guard George ‘Trey’ Kell for the remainder of the season, the club announced Tuesday. Kell (1.93 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Openjobmetis Varese, where he averaged 15.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 10 Italian League games this season. He started his career with Igokea Aleksandrovac of Bosnia and Herzegovina and also played for Moncton Magic of Canada, Eastern Long Lions of Hong Kong, and Slam Stal Ostrow Wlkp of Poland. Kell helped Ostrow win the Polish League title last season and also lifted the NBL Canada trophy in 2019. He has been a member of the Syrian national team. Kell is set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with Milan in 2022.
