AX Armani Exchange Milan bolstered its frontcourt by inking big man Ben Bentil for the remainder of the season, the club announced Wednesday. Bentil (2.04 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul, where he has averaged 12.0 points and 4.4 rebounds in eight Turkish League games this season. He brings Turkish Airlines EuroLeague experience, as well, having played for Panathinaikos OPAP Athens the last two seasons. He appeared in 54 EuroLeague games with the Greens, averaging 4.8 points and 3.4 rebounds. Bentil helped Panathinaikos to win the Greek League and Greek Cup titles in 2021. He started his career with Fort Wayne of the G League and also played for Xinjiang Flying Towers of China, Champagne Chalons Reims Basket of France, Bilbao Basket of Spain and Peristeri Athens of Greece.
