Jamal Murray scored 23 of his 37 points in the fourth quarter, propelling the Denver Nuggets to a 108-103 come-from-behind victory over the LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference finals on Thursday night.
After the game, Nuggets coach Michael Malone talked about Murray’s impact on the defensive end: “In the Playoffs you can’t be a specialist. Specialists don’t play in the Playoffs. You gotta find a way to impact the game, and he did that tonight. He understands that.”
