The Memphis Grizzlies have exercised their 2023-24 team option on Xavier Tillman, the team announced on Monday.
Tillman will earn over $1.9 million next season.
The 24-year-old big man tallied 7.0 points, 5.0 boards, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals last 2022-23 via 61 games of play. His role for the Grizzlies became larger at the latter part of the season following both Steven Adams and Brandon Clarke’s absences.
He is set to become an unrestricted free-agent next offseason should he and the Grizzlies fail to reach out a contract extension.
