Dallas Mavericks superstar Kristaps Porzingis entered NBA’s health and safety protocols, the team announced Monday. After missing Luka Doncic for several games, Dallas will play next games without another star.
Over his previous four outings, Porzingis averaged 27.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. The Latvian big is joining Trey Burke, Boban Marjanović, JaQuori McLaughlin and Isaiah Thomas in the NBA protocols.
The Mavs are also missing Willie Cauley-Stein for tonight’s game against the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets will also have their share of adversity with several players out. Four players are out due NBA’s protocols, while three are recovering from injuries.
Vlatco Cancar and Austin Rivers are probable as the Nuggets will try to add to their winning tally, after blowing out the Houston Rockets. The Mavericks are coming from two consecutive wins vs the Kings and Thunder.
