The Dallas Mavericks are in talks with the Washington Wizards regarding forward Kyle Kuzma as they seek to enhance their rotation alongside Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. Washington is reportedly seeking a minimum of two first-round picks in exchange for Kuzma.
Mark Cuban, speaking on a Dallas radio show, mentioned the Mavs’ interest in securing frontcourt assistance, particularly a versatile player at least 6-foot-8 who can create off the dribble.
Kuzma is currently in the first year of his four-year, $90 million deal with the Wizards, earning $25.6 million this season, with descending amounts of $23.5 million, $21.5 million, and $19.4 million over the next three seasons.
