Ty Jerome just hit a floater over Paolo Banchero and looked like he had some words for him afterwards. Jerome is up to nine points off the bench. – 1:43 PM

“It’s going to be a hell of a challenge there in Cleveland. They’re playing really well right now. They kicked our (butt) last time we played them on (national) TV. Hopefully, we have a better effort.” – @OrlandoMagic’s Paolo Banchero on facing the Cavs

My latest for @orlandosports: The #Magic on Friday fell to 0-3 since the break when Paolo Banchero notches 40-plus points.
“As a supporting cast, we’ve got to do a better job of relieving some of the pressure off him,” Wendell Carter Jr. said.

My @orlandosports recap as the #Magic fall at Minnesota despite Paolo Banchero’s 43 points:
“We just came up short,” Banchero said. “We put up a good fight, made some good runs throughout the game and gave ourselves a chance to win.” orlandosentinel.com/2025/03/14/orl… – 12:30 AM

I asked #Magic’s Paolo Banchero what made Friday at Timberwolves so challenging for Franz Wagner:
“A lot of teams and guys in the league aren’t able to meet Franz at the rim when he goes to finish and they have a few guys that are long and athletic enough to do that.”

Lots of conversation recently about the future faces of the NBA. #Magic’s Paolo Banchero was asked about himself and Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards in that group:
“I think it’s great. Two young talented players trying to lead their teams. I love playing against Ant.”

“For us two, it’s easier when we can go and get out in transition, and get some easy points like that,” #Magic’s Franz Wagner said of himself and Paolo Banchero. “Paolo did a hell of a job shooting the 3 and when he does that as well, he’s super difficult to guard.”

“Oldest guy on the team playing hard as hell,” #Magic forward Paolo Banchero said of 14-year pro Cory Joseph. “He’s grateful for every moment he has on the court. He lets us know that and it just shows you that we’re all blessed to play this game.”
