LeBron James said he has yet to make a decision on whether he’ll exercise his player option with the Los Angeles Lakers next offseason.
The player option is worth $51.4 million.
“No,” said James, when asked if he knew what he was going to do with the option.
Rich Paul also clarified earlier in the week that James would not be traded by the Lakers.
Ahead of the Lakers game against the Knicks on Saturday night, James admitted that he had thoughts about what it would have been like to play in New York.
“During my free agency period in 2010, it was one of the teams that I looked at. So I’ve had that thought in my career,” said James.
