LeBron James will miss the Los Angeles Lakers game at the Utah Jazz on Saturday due to a left ankle injury. The Lakers say James is suffering from left ankle peroneal tendinopathy.
To this point, James has played in 36 of the Lakers first 39 games this season. This is after the star forward missed 27, 26 and 27 games over the past three seasons for Los Angeles.
The Lakers go into Saturday night’s game a half-game behind the Jazz for the final spot in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament.
