Earlier this offseason a report came out suggesting that LeBron James ‘is over’ Anthony Davis, reportedly due to his teammate’s injury woes.
However, to a source familiar with James’ thinking denied such insinuations, per Mark Medina of Sportsnaut. According to the person, the four-time NBA champion is not frustrated with AD but rather with the unfortunate circumstances that prevented the two superstars from playing more time together.
James and Davis have been teammates for four years now. They won a championship during their first season together. In the following two season the Lakers lost in the first round of the playoffs and missed postseason altogether another year.
Last season the Purple and Gold advanced to the conference finals despite finishing just 7th in the Western Conference.
