Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) has revealed that LeBron James has “general swelling” in his left knee, per Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

Lakers’ head coach Frank Vogel says that James will be out indefinitely.
James has missed the last few games with knee soreness – this imaging confirms that the injury will require rehab.
The Lakers (24-26) don’t have time to lose if they want to climb into the top six of the Western Conference and avoid the play-in games.
James, 37, has been far and away the best Lakers player this season; averaging 29.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 6.3 assists on 52%/35%/76% shooting splits.
It will be curious to see if James – who has one year remaining on his contract – will want to stay in Los Angeles with a team devoid of tradable assets.
