Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James remains out, as he is dealing with left knee soreness. The multiple time All-Star missed his third straight game on Sunday, as the Lakers lost to the Atlanta Hawks (121-129).
In addition, he left the team and returned to Los Angeles to receive treatment, as he attempts to recover as soon as possible. For the time being, there is no timetable on when LeBron James will make his return. The four-time NBA champion had an MRI that showed a ‘general swelling’.
“As long as the swelling is there he’s going to be out,” Lakers head coach Frank Vogel said on Sunday, via NBA.com. Los Angeles currently is on a three-game losing streak, dropping to 24-27 (ninth in the West).
They will now host the Portland Trail Blazers (Wednesday) and will battle the Clippers a day later (Thursday), hoping to have their leader back.
