The Los Angeles Lakers have converted Wenyen Gabriel to a standard NBA contract.
Gabriel initially joined the Lakers on a Two-Way deal and has become a rotation player for the team.
Gabriel has averaged 5.7 points and 3.8 rebounds in 14.6 minutes over 17 games for the Lakers.
The Lakers previously waived Trevor Ariza to create the roster spot for Gabriel.
