After getting eliminated by the Heat in the second round, the Knicks have their thoughts on next season. According to Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report, New York is expected to target multiple players as they look to add another star to the roster.
Among the names linked with the Knicks are Karl-Anthony Towns, Bradley Beal, Kyle Kuzma (will become an unrestricted free agent this summer), OG Anunoby.
For Towns there are multiple connections with New York City that makes it an attractive destination for the 27-year-old center, who averaged 20.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 33 minutes per game this past season.
Beal has been a target of several teams over the years, including the Lakers, but he has remained loyal to the Wizards so far. The 29-year-old shooting guard, who is on a 5-year, $251 million contract which runs through 2026-2027, averaged 23.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 33.5 minutes per game.
Kuzma will have the freedom to listen to all offers as he will become an unrestricted free agent this summer. The 27-year-old forward averaged career-high 21.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 35 minutes per game this season.
Anunoby was targeted by multiple teams during the season, but ended staying in Toronto. The 25-year-old small forward averaged 16.8 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists in 35.6 minutes per game.
