The New York Knicks are looking to upgrade its point guard depth behind Jalen Brunson, sources told Jake Fischer of Yahoo! Sports.
There are also questions surrounding the potential fit between Brunson and Dejounte Murray should a trade occur between the Hawks and Knicks.
Sources add that the Hawks valued Quentin Grimes when the two sides discussed a deal for Cam Reddish in 2022.
The Knicks are also continuing to evaluate the center position.
