Klay Thompson said that he would consider playing for The Bahamas should the team qualify for next year’s Paris Olympics.
“When that time comes, I will give it serious consideration just because of what The Bahamas meant to the Thompson family, especially my father,” said Thompson.
Thompson represented the U.S. in both the 2014 FIBA World Cup and the 2016 Olympics.
The Bahamas is coached by Warriors assistant Chris DeMarco.
The national team is also exploring moves for Evan and Isaiah Mobley and Naz Reid.
