Klay Thompson took to Instagram to announce he’ll return to the Golden State Warriors on Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Thompson has been out for 941 days since tearing his ACL in the 2019 NBA Finals.
Earlier in the day on Saturday, Steve Kerr jokingly said Thompson “forgot” to tell Kerr if he’d be available. Kerr encouraged the media to “keep your phone ready”.
Kerr did confirm that Thompson will start when he plays, but with “less responsibility and fewer minutes”.
