Although nothing is official yet, it seems that things are moving in the direction that Sasha Vezenkov will leave Olympiacos and join the Kings this summer.
According to Christos Tsaltas of sportal.gr, Sacramento have the Bulgarian forward in their plans for the 2023-2024 season.
The Kings hold 27-year-old Vezenkov’s draft rights. He was drafted as the 57th overall pick by the Nets in 2017 but has remained in Europe since.
He has peaked this past season winning his first EuroLeague MVP trophy. Vezenkov averaged 17.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 29 minutes per game.
He helped Olympiacos reach the EuroLeague Final where his team lost against Real Madrid.
