Even with the second-degree assault charge being dismissed, the Houston Rockets player Kevin Porter Jr. isn’t in the clear, as he’s still up against allegations of second-degree strangulation and third-degree assault.
In the event of a conviction for the strangulation charge, he could potentially be looking at a maximum sentence of seven years in prison.
