The Houston Rockets and Kevin Porter Jr. share an interest in signing an extension this offseason. As a member of the 2019 draft class, Porter would become a restricted free agent in 2023 without an extension.
Porter was acquired from the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2021.
In 61 games last season with the Rockets, Porter averaged 15.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 6.2 assists in 31.3 minutes.
