Kevin Durant continues to anticipate Kyrie Irving being with the Brooklyn Nets this season despite his continued reluctance to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
“I’m envisioning Kyrie being a part of our team,” said Durant. “Maybe I’m just naïve, but that’s just how I feel. But everybody here has that confidence in themselves and our group, that if we keep doing it we can do something special.”
The Nets are widely considered to be the championship favorites entering the season, but that is dependent on health and the participation of Irving.
Irving is currently not allowed to practice or play for the Nets when they are in Brooklyn.
