Kevin Durant, the leading point scorer for the USA men’s Olympic basketball team, has a minor calf strain and will miss the start of Team USA’s training camp in Las Vegas as a precaution.
He is expected to join Team USA’s practice in London today, marking his first practice with this Olympic team.
Durant could make his debut in one of the exhibition games against South Sudan on Saturday or Germany on Monday as he recovers from the strained calf.
