Kendrick Nunn missed the entire 21-22 season for the Los Angeles Lakers with a bone bruise in his right knee and plans to pick up his $5.6 million player option.
“Knowing I just took this entire year off, it’s a no-brainer for me to opt-in,” said Nunn.
Nunn said he “absolutely” expects to be ready for the start of next season.
Nunn believes the injury was mostly due to cumulative wear and tear.
“I can’t rush my body to heal faster than it naturally does, so I just had to accept that,” Nunn said. “It’s frustrating.”
