Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Josh Giddey recently discussed the adjustments he’s had to make during his sophomore year.
(via Bally Sports Southwest):
“Obviously, I struggled for a little while through the early part of the season. I guess a lot of that was, when you’re a 2nd year guy, I guess the cat’s out the bag. You’re not a secret anymore. Guys know how to play you, they can game plan for it. So it took me a little while to figure that out, but once I did, I’m feeling better now and trying to make the right reads. Shai’s obviously getting a lot of attention when he’s got the ball in his hands. So being a cutter, being able to space the floor, making the right play on that end of the floor. I gotta do a better job of taking care of the ball, but for the most part, feeling better. Feeling like I can get into a bit of a groove.”
