Andrew Wiggins has finally re-joined the Warriors after being away from the team since mid-February. The 28-year-old shooting guard missed game due to his father’s serious medical condition.
The 2022 NBA champion will need to work on his conditioning before he ready to play though. His teammate Jordan Poole is excited to have Wiggins back in the locker room.
“I’m glad he took the time that he needed and we’re welcoming him back with open arms,” Poole said after dropping 30 points against the Thunder. “Really excited, good energy, positive energy to have him back.
“He’s such a bright light, has such an amazing spirit. It’s just dope to be around him. It’s definitely good to have him back in the locker room.”
This season Wiggins is averaging 17.1 points, 5 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 32.2 minutes per game.
