After another big night on the defensive end for Philadelphia 76ers guard De’Anthony Melton (7 steals vs. the Los Angeles Lakers during Friday’s 133-122 overtime victory at home), star center Joel Embiid wants it to be known that the 24-year-old should make an All-Defensive Team this season.

“Since we got him, he’s been great. He’s just doing his job. Obviously, we see what he can do defensively. In my honest opinion, All-Defensive Team. So we gotta keep him going. He’s been up and down, but today, he was amazing. So we need him to keep that going.”
