Embiid had 45 points, 13 rebounds, and two assists on 18-30 shooting from the field, 2-3 shooting from three, and 7-10 shooting from the line in the 76ers’ 131-122 win over the Indiana Pacers.

Jokic had 41 points, 17 rebounds, and four assists on 18-35 shooting from the field, 1-5 shooting from three, and 4-6 shooting from the line in the Nuggets’ 116-97 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

Milwaukee Bucks’ star Giannis Antetokounmpo – perhaps third in the MVP-race – played on Tuesday as well; posting 18 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists on 7-13 shooting from the field, 1-2 shooting from three, and 3-5 shooting from the line.
The MVP race will likely be decided in the coming days as the leading candidates jockey for playoff-position in their respective conferences.
