Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid says that he hasn’t thought much about winning the 2022-23 NBA MVP award since losing to the Boston Celtics last playoffs.

Lauren Rosen: “It’s been about six months since you won your first MVP. When you think about that day that you found out and gathered with all your teammates in that room, what are the little moments that you’re going to remember about winning your first MVP?”
Embiid: “To be honest, I haven’t thought about it all summer for some reason. It was great, at the time it was amazing, but losing has been on my mind the whole summer. But my family was on the phone, my teammates were there, the whole organization was there, I thought it was great.”
