Joel Embiid is experiencing “significant pain” in his right thumb, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.
Embiid, who practiced on Friday and is expected to play in Game 4 against the Raptors, may get an MRI in the future to determine if there is ligament damage.
Embiid reportedly wore a protective wrap on his right thumb during Friday’s practice.
“He’s good. We did a lot of stuff … we just don’t want anybody to hit his arms and hands and all that. But he’s fine,” said Doc Rivers following the practice.
The Sixers lead the series 3-0.
