Jimmy Butler is confident that his Miami Heat team can topple each and everyone as the playoffs are nearing.
The Heat remains in a tight battle for the East’ upper echelon while hearing murmurs about chemistry and recent losing skid issues, yet their leader seems to believe that they are built to claim the prized Larry O’Brien trophy in June.
“I feel like that we put together this roster to win a championship,” he said, via HoopsHype. “It feels like a championship-caliber team. It does.”
But he openly admits that they are still on a learning curve after what the previous week has offered to them — wherein they had a controversial moment as a ball club.
“We have lapses at times. We got a couple more days, games to figure that all out, but when we’re clicking, when we’re guarding, when we’re making shots, when we’re sharing the ball, I think we’re going to be really tough to beat.”
Determined to carry Miami in the basketball’s promised land after coming up short in 2020, the All-star swingman understands that the stakes are getting higher as they move along and critics are keen on their errors. Still, with that immense firepower, defensive versatility, promising depth and coaching wits of Erik Spoelstra, the Heat is truly a force to reckon with in the impending war for the championship.
This regular season where he is averaging 21.2 points, 6.0 boards and 5.6 assists, Butler remains focused on enhancing his game to inspire, motivate and lead his team to the finish line.
