Cleveland Cavaliers head coach JB Bickerstaff talked about Jarrett Allen’s All-Star level play following yesterday’s 117-115 home win vs. the San Antonio Spurs (29 points/16 rebounds/2 assists/1 steal/1 block/11-19 FG/7-7 FT).
(via Cleveland Cavaliers):
Reporter: “Jarrett Allen with 29 & 16. How much of an All-Star candidacy does he need to be getting at this point?”
Bickerstaff: “He is, in my opinion, he’s got to be. You talk about the [Joel] Embiids of the world obviously, but I don’t know any big man, any center, who’s playing better than Jarrett Allen. I don’t know anybody in that front court position who’s playing better than Jarrett Allen right now. It’s deserving, what he did tonight on both sides of the ball. We highlight impact on winning along with production, and Jarrett Allen is it.”
