The Utah Jazz have multiple trade offers on the table for Donovan Mitchell from teams beyond the New York Knicks, according to Tony Jones of The Athletic.
While the Knicks are considered the far away favorites for Mitchell with the best potential trade package, the Jazz claim these other trade proposals are worth pursuing should talks with New York stall. Jones doesn’t detail which teams have made the attractive offers, but the Charlotte Hornets, Washington Wizards and Cleveland Cavaliers have been previously reported to be linked with Mitchell.
The Knicks have the type of trade assets that the Jazz seek, while Mitchell would welcome a trade to New York.
A deal isn’t considered close at this point.
The Jazz also claim they would be comfortable retaining Mitchell heading into the season despite the way they have begun to tear down their roster.
