Orlando Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley called Jonathan Isaac a should be All-Defensive Team member/future Defensive Player of the Year candidate following Saturday’s 112-97 home win vs. the Milwaukee Bucks (2 steals and 1 block in 17 minutes).
(via Orlando Magic):
Reporter: “Once again, JI to close out the game at the 5, key matchup against Giannis, can you just talk about his importance to this team?”
Mosley: “I can’t say enough. I really can’t. His ability to take on defensive challenges. He’s a guy that will and should be All-Defensive Team, if not at some point, moving into that Defensive Player of the Year conversation because he’s that good. He’s got a special gift and he wants all those challenges. It’s great that we have a team of guys that want to take on all defensive challenges.”
